How We Help
The Process:
First, we listen to you. In most cases the process begins with an interview. This is an opportunity for the provider to meet you. We discuss your child’s history and current concerns. The provider then recommends a test battery that will answer the most important questions.
Evaluation appointments are usually 90 minutes. NeuroDevelopment Center of Colorado administers instruments used in children’s hospitals. Many assessment activities are hands-on and engaging.
When the evaluation concludes, NeuroDevelopment Center of Colorado provides a comprehensive evaluation report. We strive to communicate critical information in the most practical manner possible. It is important that we give parents, teachers and primary care providers specific next steps.
Many clients also receive individualized behavioral and learning interventions from NCC’s team of specialists.
